Under the Computer Misuse Act 2010, individuals who share explicit photographs or videos can face charges of offensive communication.
Meanwhile, those featured in such content can be charged with distribution of private material, potentially leading to fines of Shs 10 million or imprisonment for up to 10 years, or both, upon conviction.
