Albeit singer Gerard Muwonge a.k.a Clever J’s “Return Of Clever J” show getting underway at a below par, the singer eventually managed to attract a mammoth concertgoer turnout last night.
The fans showed Clever J much love and support even though they flocked to the venue a bit late after reports circulated showing how he was destined to record the flop of the year concert.
The show managed to sell out giving its organizer and motor-mouthed events promoter Alfonso Andrew Bajjo Clear Process a sigh of relief on his face having narrowly escaped negative publicity and getting soaked in huge debts.
At 9:00 PM, the venue was eventually filled with revelers who vibed to performances from several musicians who curtain-raised for the star of the night.
The artists who performed on the night included Spice Diana, Dianah Nalubega, MC Fish, Shakira Shakiraa, Master Parrot, Yung Mulo, Alien Skin, Mesach Semakula, Abdul Mulaasi, Mikie Wine, Betty Mpologoma, among many others who thrilled fans on the evening.
Clever J hit the stage at around 10: 30 pm and to the surprise of revelers, many thought he would show up smartly dressed in expensive outfits but that wasn’t the case.
A few minutes in, Clever J immediately took the crowd down memory lane as he kicked off his performances with a live band performance played by Solid Band.
His live performance was pretty awesome as the crowd stayed glued and focused on watching what he had in stock and he didn’t disappoint the fans.
