National Unity Platform head of legal department Anthony Wameli is battling a serious abdominal complication and was on Friday flown to the United States for specialized medical treatment.
Wameli is currently being admitted at Boston Medical Centre in Boston, USA, and is according to reports already looking forward to a speedy recovery.
Sources privy to the lawyer indicated that he is being disturbed by Peptic ulcers which have been antagonising him for a larger part of the recent past and the hospital admission came after the illness worsened.
Now, in a video messages to his followers, family, and supporters of the NUP, Wameli allayed any fears that his life was in danger, saying he is doing fine and responding to medical treatment and will soon bounce back.
