By Website Writer; Singer Evelyn Love (Lagu) is set to have her kidney transplanted in Turkey.
Evelyn arrived in Turkey together with her son aboard Turkish Airlines on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
She was then admitted to one major hospital in Turkey’s capital, Ankara.
Apparently, Evelyn’s medical attendants are still carrying out tests on her body to detail the strong and complex operation that is yet to be carried out.
Her sample results are expected to be released next week and it’s when her operation will proceed.
Speaking to a local Ugandan TV station, the ‘Mbulila’ singer said she is more optimistic about her current and next health.
Evelyn’s cry for a kidney donor was answered after a yet undisclosed lady expressed her interest.
News about Evelyn Lagu’s kidney complication was first revealed earlier this year after her plea to rise over Ugx. 250Million for a transplant.
A car wash fundraiser was organized to raise the amount but unfortunately, it wasn’t successful as only Ugx. 83Million was obtained.
