The Adhoc Committee that was setup by parliament on the 15th August 2018 to ascertain the condition of the Members of Parliament and other people with whom they were arrested on the eve of the by-election in Arua municipality has revealed shocking information.
The committee comprised of MPs: Hon. Amule Doreen, (Woman MP Amolatar District – Chairperson), Hon. Kamateeka Jovah, (Woman MP Mitooma District), Hon. Lubega Medard Sseggona, (Busiro East), Hon. Baryayanga Andrew Aja, (Kabale Municipality), Hon. Atiku Bernard, (Ayivu County) and Hon. Ssewanyana Allan (Makindye West).
The report signed by five members on this committee (apart from the committee chairperson Doreen Amule), which was also shared on the MPs ipads reveals shocking information how Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu’s testicles were squeezed and smashed.
“Both his legs and hands were chained. He was later wrapped in a blanket and driven off to an unknown location as the beating continued. His testicles were squeezed so hard that at the time the Committee visited him at Makindye military barracks, he informed the Committee that one of his testicles smashed beyond existence. He could no longer locate it within his scrotum,”
