Bullets, Teargas continue to rain across the city in areas of Katwe, Kamwokya, Kisekka Market, City Center, Wandegeya and Kabalagala.
Security organs including the military police, Uganda police force and the army are engaged in running battles with residents who took to the streets demanding the release of legislator Bobi Wine.
Holding placards demanding the release of MP Bobi Wine, the residents also lit several fires in different parts of the town. Police then intervened, firing tear gas and live bullets to disperse the demonstrators.
