Well, 2018 continues to be another wonderful year for the new gospel music group in Uganda one ‘New Chapter Africa’ as they climb to the peak of their careers. According to liable sources, the ‘Binji’ hit makers are rumored to have already earned a huge amount of money from their new ‘Kampala’ song that was released mid this year as they penned a deal with Kampala Capital City Authority. This follows Kampala Capital City Authority choosing this song to be the official anthem for the upcoming City Festival slated for 5-7 October 2018.
This year’s Kampala City Festival edition was launched earlier in March and it expected to cost shs1.9 billion. While addressing guests, the authority Executive Director ‘Jennifer Musisi’ thanked partners for believing in the cause of the festival.
She further revealed that this year’s festival aims to renovate schools; “Our main focus this year is to remove asbestos rooftops because they cause cancer. Like it or not, the future of this country depends on the children we are raising, so let us work together to improve their lives.”
However, none of the members among this music group has officially confirmed this deal with KCCA.
