Bobi Wine, Besigye’s National Prayers blocked with tear gas

By Website Writer; The Uganda Police has today, Friday, December 30, 2022, fired teargas at opposition leaders and supporters led by Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine of the National Unity Platform (NUP) and Rtd. Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye Forum for Democratic of Change (FDC).

This is after Bobi Wine and Besigye under their coalition umbrella ‘United Forces of Change’ made their way from Nsambya Sharing Hall, where, they had organized an End-of-year National Prayers.

The two were in company of Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi, NUP Spokesperson and Rt. Hon Godfrey Luyombya.

Sources also claim that live bullets and tear gas have been experienced along Jinja Road.

According to Police, Bobi Wine, Kizza Besigye and company didn’t follow the right procedures to hold a mass gathering.
