By Website Writer; The Anti Corruption Unit – State House Uganda in liasion with Uganda Police Force have arrested & arraigned 6 teachers to the Kanungu Chief Magistrates Court on Charges of Forgery & Uttering False Documents.
The accused allegedly forged appointment letters & posting instructions purpotedly signed from Ministry of Education & Sports and ESC.
The accused have been using the forged documents to teach in Government of Uganda aided institutions like; Nyakatare Tech Inst, Bishop Comboni Coll & Kihihi HS.
In total, they have caused Gov’t a loss of UGX500m in salaries & allowances paid to them.
They have been remanded till 17/11/2022.
