House of Prayer Ministries Church leader Alosyious Bugingo and his new wife Susan Makula have been charged with three counts under the Marriage Act.
The Entebbe court grade one Magistrate Stella Okwanga Pacular charged the couple with contracting marriage by customary law when already married under the Marriage Act, marriage with a person previously married, and Bigamy contrary to section 153 under the penal code Act.
The couple is expected to appear in court to plead to the charges on January 21, 2022.
Bugingo went on to marry Makula while he is still legally married to his first wife Teddy Naluswa Bugingo. His marriage came after Naluswa refused to sign divorce papers vowing that he will always be her husband.
After their luxurious introduction ceremony, City lawyer Male Mabirizi dragged them to courts of law hence the charges.
If the court rules against Bugingo, there will be no bonking with Susan Makula. We will keep you posted.
