Ugandan music heavyweight Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone has come out to speak out against the ongoing backlash about the vehicle he received.
Chameleone was gifted with a sleek Range Rover as he declared that his love for the NRM has never been diminished. As he was being handed the key for the sleek ride, Chameleone was seen kneeling as he expressed thanks. This caused massive uproar on social media as many condemned him for stooping so low.
However, Chameloene has come out to dismiss these naysayers, saying kneeling is a good trait of expressing gratitude.
He further distanced the vehicle from changing the allegiance of political parties. Chameli revealed that he was given the car because he is a music legend not because they wanted to buy his political conscience. He then lashed at whoever is aggrieved by his new ride and the circumstances under which he got it to go and hang.
When asked about when he plans to retire in music and whether he still feels he has some unfinished music Business, Chameloene boldly declared that he has nothing to regret as far as music is confirmed. He claimed he doesn’t owe anyone anything musically.
