House of Prayer Ministries lead Pastor Aloysius Bugingo’s daughter Winnie Treasure Bugingo graduated from University a few days ago and her family organised a party to celebrate her success.
Pictures were later released on social media but shockingly her father was nowhere to be seen, the cute family pictures consisted of her mother Teddy Naluswa Bugingo, family members, and friends.
This threw netizens into shock who cursed Bugingo for not being around to congratulate and witness his daughter’s big day.
After receiving heavy criticism, the Salt Media CEO has come out to clear the air.
Bugingo revealed that he was not invited to the celebrations adding that he had no idea about the party.
“Those asking me about Treasure’s graduation ceremony should know that I was unaware about it, someone shared pictures in the Whatsaap group, and I saw them, the last time I talked to her was about four months back,” Bugingo said.
Additionally, Bugingo assured that he would have attended if he received an invitation.
His wife, Teddy explained that however much she wanted her husband to attend their daughter’s party, she had no way of inviting him because he cut off communication.
“I wanted him to attend Winnie’s graduation because nothing will ever change the fact that he is the biological father to her but he does not pick my calls, the last time I called him he blocked me. I do not even know where he stays and he put restrictions on me from entering his church and media premises, Naluswa narrated.
It should be recalled that Bugingo refused to pay tuition for Winnie with claims that she supported her mother during their 2019 fights where he was asking to divorce her (Teddy). He claimed that she was old enough to take care of herself.
