Top Media employees to go on strike over salary delay as owner Pastor Ssenyonga prioritises son’s wedding

Top Media company, a mother company to Top TV, Mubende FM among others is in disarray after staff have threatened to lay down their tools due to the failure by the management to pay their salaries.

Top TV and Mubende FM, owned by top city Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga has failed to pay the salaries of their employees for a period of over three months, we are reliably informed.

As the staff grapple with the biting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic induced lockdown with empty pockets and hungry bellies, the man of God is busy planning for his son’s lavish wedding which is according to reports costing tenfold the wage bill of Top Media.

This has left the staff of the media company furious, wondering why the man of God is so inconsiderate to prioritise his son’s wedding to their welfare.

We are reliably informed that the employees are planning to lay down their tools in protest of the injustice.

They say they are currently struggling to make ends meet with their families yet Pastor Ssenyonga has bought his son a sleek brand new Subaru New Model.

Efforts to talk to the man of God were futile by the time of the publication of this report.
