Veteran Ugandan media personality Straka Mwezi commonly known as Straka Beibe has surprised many after revealing how she is no longer on the level of being employed as a TV presenter.
The TV personality famously known for donning the “Christmas Tree” hair style has been a hit on Uganda media for the past 18years, hosting one of the most watched shows ever on local TV, ‘The Late show’ at WBS TV.
Since then, Straka had laid low like an envelope as her whereabouts couldn’t be traced not until a few months back when she came out and announced her return with an online TV called Straka TV.
During an exclusive interview with NBS KURT show over the weekend, the ‘coloured presenter’ assured her fan base how she is no longer a level of being employed as a TV presenter but may be doing consultancy.
Straka however didn’t write off chances of making it back on any local TV station so long as she can be convinced with a juicy contract deal.
“I’m no longer on the level of being employed to work on TV, unless if you’re going to hire me as a consultant. If you don’t have enough money, then don’t call me. I have done lot in my career now a trend setter with an experience of 18years. I’m not bragging that I don’t want to work on TV anymore but its time to do my big thing.”- Straka Mwezi.
