Veteran musician and former Rubaga South Legislator Kato Lubwama has come out to correct singer Sheebah Karungi on the real meaning of her favorite title, Nnakyeyombekedde. According to Kato, the term is used to describe women who build their own houses using money earned through prostitution.
The veteran artist further told Sheebah that she will not be a celebrity forever before wondering why she doesn’t have feelings for men.
“I term Nnakyeyombekedde as a prostitute who either rents a house or builds her own house in which she does her job (prostitution) ,so that word isn’t good for you Sheebah, you won’t be a celebrity up to 60 years , you will end at 40 and another Sheebah will come because “ssi ggwe asoose” unless you don’t have feelings for men, so do the needful” Kato Lubwama said during an interview with Spark TV.
Kato’s comments have come days after Sheebah revealed that she will never get married because she hates being controlled by men. The singer is however open for a partnership relationship where her man would be willing to support her fully. The singer vowed to remain single until the right man comes through.
