Nambooze paid a team of social media pundits in Mukono to attack, abuse and character assassinate journalists in Mukono.
Last Saturday, Nambooze while addressing a team of National Unity Platform youths and councilors, Nambooze attacked Vision Group Journalist Henry Nsubuga accusing the later of engulfing self in fault finding mission to bring down Nambooze. “That because Journalist Nsubuga is on a fault finding mission against you. If you get out to look for faults against me, you will definitely get them.” Nambooze said on Saturday last week.
Nambooze claims, the Journalists in Mukono are irresponsible, illiterate and unable to cover events within the area except when on a mission to find faults in her.
The Journalists now claim, Nambooze has on several occasions been bragging and despising them to an extent of abusing several in a bid to win sympathy over the electorate.
Shine Homes, a blogger in Mukono when contacted said the MP at one time called for a meeting of all Mukono NUP mobilizers and character assassinated him, asked all supporters to deal with the blogger in any way they deemed fit.
“That is gross misuse of power and authority by the Politician. When elected into office, you do not have to attack journalists. It means she is attacking the messenger instead of receiving the message in good faith,” Patrice Kyewalabye.
The Journalist have now resorted to blacklist the Member of Parliament, refusing to cover all the events she attends until Nambooze repents.

Sources within the Nambooze camp have intimated to Entebbe Post that several of her staff have been uncomfortable with her abusive behavior, saying it is a sign of disrespect to the country.
The MP recently attacked Buganda Kingdom premier Charles Peter Mayiga accusing the official of not serving the interests of the Kingdom.
